The core is hard-shell knuckle protection over a textured grip palm, built for street riding. If you ride leather, full-grain leather breaks in to your hand and carries knuckle protection of its own; supple goatskin gives a broken-in feel from day one, and the motocross goatskin palm is cut for off-road control. For hot months, a ventilated mesh upper keeps air moving without giving up the knuckle guard.
