Warm, Comfortable, and Perfect for Cold Weather

This balaclava is exactly what I was hoping for. The material is soft, stretchy, and surprisingly warm without feeling bulky, which makes it great for running, cycling, or any outdoor activity in cold weather. It covers everything it’s supposed to — face, neck, and even the ears — and the fit is snug but not restrictive. I also appreciate the breathability. Even while biking or jogging, it doesn’t get stuffy or make it hard to breathe, and it fits nicely under a helmet or hood. The construction feels solid and well-made, and it washes easily without losing shape. For anyone who spends time outdoors in winter, this balaclava is a simple, effective way to stay warm and protected from the wind. Definitely a five-star pick.

Good value, comfortable

This balaclava ski mask is a hit with my husband. He says it is comfortable, and even says it is fine to breathe through. The fabric is is somewhat slick, stretchy knit on the outside and very soft and velvety inside. It is thin enough to fit under a helmet. The cowl is scooped out over the shoulders but extends down the front a few inches, covering the top of the chest so there are no air gaps. Very good value at 2 for just under $20.00 full retail.

Warm and Functional for Cold Weather

This ski mask does a good job of keeping your face warm in cold, windy conditions. The material is soft and thermal, and it fits snugly without being too tight. It covers the head, neck, and face well, making it ideal for outdoor sports or winter chores. The black color is simple and versatile. It’s not super thick, so it works best in moderately cold weather rather than extreme conditions. Overall, a solid choice for everyday winter use.

Well Designed Balaclava

The design of this Balaclava is perfect for wearing underneath a ski helmet, bike helmet, or even your beanie. It's a little thinner than I thought it would have been, but this makes it great to wear as a warm and protective layer underneath your helmet or hoodie. I've got an average-sized head, and it fits snug all around, and the "saddle-shaped" bottom does make it easy to tuck beneath your shirt or jacket without bunching up, and the fleece lined inside is super soft and feels good against the skin. I would recommend this to anyone needing protection from the cold whether you’re skiing/snowboarding or just working outside during the winter months.

Excellent. And I didnt think I would like them

It comes as a pair and I am actually impressed. Normally I dont like polyester near my face but this is soft and not too stifling. The breathing area mesh is just right to keep cold off from face and allow me to breathe well. The head covering is flexible and for me, this size is not too tight or too loose. I can easily roll it up to just cover the hair portion and it doesnt feel like it is too tight then either. Plus it does not interfere with my sight in anyway because of the nice fit so I have peripheral and open vision (with or without glasses). I love the way it cuts out chill and this is fantastic for chilly runs too, which is what I tried it for first. Can't wait to try it with snow and other harsh winter weather for outdoor sport activities

Perfect mid-weight balaclava

Despite getting cold easily, I can't miss out on my winter sports. For snowboarding and bicycling, I love balaclava's. Picking the right one for conditions can be tough though. I have a lightweight, unlined balaclava, and a lined & blocked balaclava for motorcycling. These balaclavas fall right in the middle of those two. The way this assembled it different from my other head coverings, and that's a good thing. The sides feature an extra panel to cover the ears, and keep big ears like min from flopping around. Looking at the material, it's stretchy on the outside and micro-fleece on the inside, with the nose and mouth skip the microfleece for breathability. This helped keep my glasses from fogging and should really help with goggles as well. I appreciate the saddle-shaped bottom design. Cheaper products have a straight bottom that never quite fits right, leaving gaps or bunching up. This design seems spot on! Highly recommended for a quality, mid-weight head covering. That you get two is a bonus, because you can let one dry or wash it while you are wearing the other.

Lightweight, breathable, versatile and warm!

I picked these up as I needed some more neck gaiters for the winter, and these seem perfect. I really just need something lightweight and breathable that I can layer underneath my hoodies or other light jackets during the winter. These meat and surpass my expectations as they're lightweight breathable and seem to be well made having good stitching and production quality. It feels very warm and soft while wearing it and allows you to optimize or customize how you want to wear it.

Thinner than expected

I got this balaclava for skiing and winter walks, and it’s been great so far. It keeps my face and neck really warm, even on super windy days. The material is soft and comfy — not itchy at all. It is lighter and thinner than I expected, but it fits nicely under my hat. It can get a little warm if you’re really active, and my goggles fog up sometimes, but that’s pretty normal for most masks. Overall, I’m really happy with it! It’s cozy, well-made, and perfect for staying warm in freezing temps. Definitely worth it if you spend a lot of time outdoors in winter.

Awesome Cold Weather Gear

I recently picked up the MVPTOO Balaclava Ski Mask, and honestly, it’s a game-changer for my winter activities. I typically struggle with gear that’s either warm but bulky, or breathable but flimsy, but this one nails the balance perfectly. The moment you pull it on, the ultra-soft fleece and 4-way stretch material feel incredibly comfortable—it’s cozy without being restrictive. The secret is the saddle-shaped snug fit. It layers smoothly under my ski helmet without creating any bulk or fabric bunching around my neck and chest, which is a huge win. The best feature, hands down, is the anti-fog design and the airflow vents. I spent a full day snowboarding, and my goggles stayed crystal clear the entire time, even during high-intensity runs. This moisture-wicking material really lets you breathe easy while still cutting out the wind chill. For $19.99, this is seriously robust, reliable protection that makes those freezing mornings actually enjoyable. It’s a definite must-have for any outdoor sport!

Wonderful Value

These are a great deal. The fabric is soft and they fit me well. It is somewhat thin, but it is too warm right now to test out how much heat they hold in. It is certainly more than without a covering! I like the way they are put together in that I can easily move the mouthpiece area down to my chin if I don't want my face covered. Also, the mouth area has a mesh that shouldn't heat up as much and allow some moisture to escape. The extra material that extends below my neck should help keep me warm, too. I look forward to using these as the weather gets colder.

Very comfortable balaclava

The Balaclavas contained in this 2-pack by MVPTOO are excellent. They feature a saddle design at the base, which allow you to comfortably place it over a turtleneck. The material is soft, stretchy and easy to put on over your head. The Balaclava also has mesh air vents that help to prevent glasses from fogging up. This anti-fog design did indeed work for me, as I was able to exercise outside without my glasses fogging up. Overall, the Balaclavas are excellent and I am happy with the order.

Well made Baclava - Great Design!

This balaclava is an absolute winter essential! The design is incredibly thoughtful and functional, making it perfect for cold-weather activities. The material feels premium — smooth to the touch, soft against the skin, and comfortably warm without feeling bulky. I’m very impressed by the vented mesh patch over the mouth, which makes breathing so much easier during more strenuous activities like skiing, running, or snow shoveling. I have several other baclavas and none have the vented feature. The fit is another standout feature. It’s snug enough to stay in place but not restrictive, and the way it drapes over the front chest and extends toward the back is genius — it effectively blocks drafts and keeps the upper chest area warm and protected from the wind. Overall, this balaclava combines smart design, comfort, and high-quality materials to deliver excellent performance in harsh winter conditions. Highly recommended for anyone who spends time outdoors in the cold!

This is a high-quality comfortable and soft ski mask. The fit is good. The sides are scooped out to prevent bunching around your neck. The material is one thickness throughout except for in front of the mouth were it is thinner and perforated so your breath can go through and not fog your goggles or glasses as much. The head portion is thin enough to go under my helmet, although I prefer an even thinner under-helmet portion and a thicker bottom portion for more warmth. The front section has ventilation holes in front of the mouth. The front of the mask is too thin for much warmth. It will work on some of the warmer ski days, but is way too thin on the cold days when very cold air is blowing on your face as you ski down the slopes. I will need to wear an additional neck gaiter over this mask that I can pull up over my face when it is very cold outside. I prefer a thin upper part on these masks for fitting under a helmet, and a thicker lower portion for face warmth. I have one like that, and I prefer it over this one. However like I said, this is a good quality and comfortable mask that will keep your head, ears and face warmer than if you skied without it. Just needs more thickness mostly in the front to protect your face from frostbite on very cold days.
