Love how it feels, the material is so soft and comfortable. The ONLY reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because it is too big and allows cold air through. If it were a bit smaller it would be perfect! If you want a loose fit, this is for you.

Nice for general winter use

Very warm and fuzzy, use it for outdoor winter chores. Only complaint is the face mask part isn’t tight to your face it’s more so just a wind block, it won’t stay tight over your nose for me it covers my mouth I expected it to come up higher to cover the nose and cheeks more however it’s still very warm and can pull the hood tight to keep protected from wind and cold overall nice for general winter use

I recently purchased this balaclava for cold weather, and it has exceeded my expectations. The fleece material feels high quality and very warm, keeping my face, neck, and head comfortable even in freezing temperatures. The fit is excellent. It stretches just enough to fit both men and women without feeling tight or restrictive, and it stays in place under a helmet. The construction is sturdy and well made, so I feel like it will last through many winters. I am especially impressed with how well it blocks the wind. Really warm and soft balalclava

This is such a comfortable and soft balalclava. It's has a looser fit than some of these so that when you don't want to wear the face mask it does nicely as a scarf. Love it. The only negative is that it took a bit longer than desirable to get here but I think it was worth the wait.

The reason is because now I don’t have to worry about wearing a scarf and it has the strings around the face to let you make it as tight or as loose as you need. Very soft, warm and cozy! A quality piece that keeps your head face neck warm!

I use this A LOT. One of the best head and face coverings I've ever had. This is very warm and keeps your face from being frozen! It is long enoug h to cover your neck area and some of your chest too. This piece is big enough to cover your entire head and drapes down a bit over your forehead. The piece is totally adjustable, you have these 2 drawstring on the left and right side of your face where you can pull taught the opening of the hole that you look out of, to make the hole smaller if need be. It really is a great piece! I highly recommend.

Excellent First Impression for Winter

This ski mask feels like a quality piece of gear right out of the package. The material is soft against the skin, and it feels substantial enough to keep the wind and cold out while still being lightweight. The fit is snug but not constricting, which is exactly what I need for a balaclava that will be worn under a helmet. I like how the breathing panel is positioned; it seems well-designed to prevent that annoying build-up of moisture. With winter activities just starting up, I’m confident this mask will hold up well and provide the warmth and comfort I’m looking for on the slopes or during cold-weather rides. It successfully covers the neck and face without feeling bulky.

Works very well

I must admit, I think this balaclava looks a little silly. It's very fluffy, and the placement of the plastic braces look a little weird. But when it comes to cold weather, this is very comfortable and warm. It's not too thick or cumbersome on the head, yet it manages to keep the entire face and head warm- much more than a beanie or hoodie. It doesn't feel super quality, but it works. When it's a really cold day out, this is definitely my go-to. I feel like the price doesn't match the quality of materials, but for how well it works I would buy it again.

Just what I needed for football!

Keeps my face warm in the brutal wind during fall football games! I like that it is breathable soft fur and not suffocating like fleece can be. It goes on and off easily, and I can just stuff it in my bag without worrying about it holding it's shape or wrinkling. The drawstring works well and I can easily close it to the size I want quickly. I probably wouldn't wear it sledding but just to walk around outside, it is nice and warm. Do note that the picture shows the model wearing a white beanie, so there is plenty of room for a hat underneath as it doesn't cover the forehead as in the picture.

Soft, cozy and warm

I've been wanting something like this for a while. I'm outside a lot; rain, snow or shine. I have chickens and I volunteer on a farm, so I've got outdoor chores that can't wait for better weather. This hood with mask is soft, made with plush fabric. The hood is nice and big so you can wear a beanie with is, but not so big that it impedes your view. There are strings to pull the hood tighter if needed. The mask is a great addition and will help with blasting winter winds. My husband likes the temperature to be on the cooler side, 67. I prefer the mid 80s, so I'm often cold. If I can feel the cold on my neck/chest, I can't warm up. I used this on a cold day with a long sleeved shirt and it kept me nice and warm through my work day. This would be great for snowboarding or skiing, or any other outdoor winter activities. The single black hood in the product images shows the tightening strings at the bottom of the neck area, but the strings are attached to the hood, like the rest of the product images. The neck area is long enough to tuck into your coat and drapes down far enough to where I doubt any cold air will get through if it isn't tucked, so there's no need for strings down there anyway. There are cord locks to keep the strings where you want them. No need to tie the strings together. One thing... The mask doesn't stay up on its own. I have to pull the strings tight to get it to stay up over the lower half of my face. But, I'm only going to need the mask when I need the hood tight, so it's not necessarily a negative.

Incredibly warm and comfortable!

I got this for my son, who will undoubtedly be wearing it snowboarding in the next couple months. The material is so soft, comfortable, and wearable for extended times. It fits more loose than ones I've had prior, but this adds to the comfort, and makes it easy to pull down the face mask. Most importantly, this balalclava-style mask FROM MVPTOO is windproof and WARM! We see some pretty cold temperatures in our area, and I have no doubt that this mask would stand up to the coldest. This offers great head, face and neck coverage, and drawstring are incorporated to adjust the fit. Very nice mask!

Soft and Warm Mask

The mask is thick but very soft and comfortable. It’s large enough to wear a knit hat or baseball cap under it and it has cords to tighten it to adjust the fit. Inside the chin area is a flap that can be pulled up over the mouth and nose. It’s a loose enough knit to breathe through but still stay cozy and warm. The neck area is not tight and it can be tucked inside the collar. It should be nice especially on cold windy days.

I have a large head and love this balaclava!! Other balaclavas are made smaller and don’t allow room to move freely. This balaclava is very soft, lofty and allows air to flow through so I won’t overheat. The face hole is wide enough to pull back around my neck to free my head. The opening is adjustable using the pull cords found on either side of my face. I wish the cords were inside because they dangle freely, but I’m not in the Olympics where dangly bits count. Some fleece residue transferred when I first tried it on. I shook it out and there’s virtually no transfer. I think the hood looks great and functions well for every day use. I can hear sounds and conversation because it’s not tight to my ears. It’s easy to put on and pull off while wearing glasses. The glasses don’t snag at all. I highly recommend it.

No more freezing on my walks!

This MVPTOO is really an amazingly soft, warm snood with an extra feature to keep your lower face warm! I needed something like this for walking in the cold but didn’t want to get the traditional tight balaclava…and this is PERFECT! The fabric is the softest, the coverage is great, you can tighten this around your face if needed, and you can even wear it as a neck warmer that just happens to have a hood if you need it. This is well made and at a price point tha will make you wish you got one sooner!

All purpose balaclava

If you are looking for a sherpa fleecy cover that will fit over your other close head hats, as well as by itself, this one is great. It is a soft fleece fabric that is fleecy on both sides. Good, rich black color. The size and construction is very roomy. The top seam is a double one, not just a seam down the center of the head. Seam on each side top of head. Double seam lays flatter and cups the head better. Drawstrings with locks work well. Hood is large enough around neck area to wear an additional scarf underneath. Wind resistant for us here in coastal areas. Wind comes through, but this sure helps.

3 in 1 Ski Mask Balalclava

I was looking for a balaclava that was lightweight yet warm to wear during fall night fishing in the Upper Midwest. This one is 100% polyester and seems fairly warm and lightweight. The size was a little larger than I expected, but the drawstrings do a great job closing the mask around my face. When I was trying it on, I did notice a slight odor I hope comes out after I wash it. There were many fuzzy pills all over the inside; I hope these come off in the wash as well. I do like this ski mask balaclava. It seems pretty durable and a good value for a 3-in-1 balaclava. My favorite thing is the adjustable drawstring that allows you to wear it several different ways.

Soft, warm, and comfortable.

This is a very warm and comfortable hood. I washed it before wearing it and the fabric did "pill" a little, but it is still very soft. The drawstrings work well to adjust how much of your face you want exposed to the cold. It pulls on and off easily which makes it great when you want to go into shelter for a little and then get back to your cold weather activity. It is secure in the wind and doesn't present any risk of blowing off of your head. It is breathable, unlined fabric which I really like, but that does also let some of the wind through, so it doesn't trap the warmth as well in a strong wind. A lining would really help against the wind. As of this writing, the first picture on the product page shows a woman wearing this hood but, she is also wearing a stocking cap underneath which is not included and might lead you to mistakenly believe that there is a knit portion to this hood. A reasonably priced hood that is warm, soft, and comfortable with a breathable fabric to not trap humidity.
